We at Junk to Clear are a full-service removal company. We will remove any items that you don’t want anymore, like renovation materials, commercial waste, old mattresses and sofas to name but a few. If you need it gone, we can help.

02 What can you clear away?

As long as two people can lift it, and it isn’t hazardous, we can clear it away.

In the past we have cleared away the following:

  • Wood including loose wooden planks, termite infested furniture, pallets
  • Construction materials including debris, used tiling, rubble, tiles & corrugated iron
  • Garden refuse including branches, trees, flower pots, soil & dirt

  • Appliances including fridges, exercise equipment, washers & dryers
  • Garage, store room & attic junk including boxes, books, old tools, tires
  • Commercial waste including walls, windows, floorboards, drywall, plasterboard & office furniture

If you need any of these items cleared away, then contact us for a free online photo quotation link.

For the safety of our workers are not able to clear away:

  • Paint
  • Chemicals, solvents, oils
  • Flammable materials
  • Oil drums (unless they are empty and the top and bottom have been cut out)

03 Are you licensed to do this work?

Junk to Clear is a professional and reputable company. Every worker is registered and retains the necessary permits. Our company, our trucks and our employees are all fully licensed and insured so you know you are in safe hands with us.

04 How far in advance should I book an appointment?

Due to our excellent reputation and high quality service, our time slots fill up very quickly. It is important to contact us as soon as possible if you know you are planning a project that will need clearing away. Once you have contacted us for a quote link we will let you know the availability in your area. We will need the postal code of the pickup address.

05 Why are appointments booked in one-hour timeslots?

Due to the nature of the work we do, it is hard to stick to an exact schedule. Our workers are at the mercy of traffic, and jobs can sometimes turn out to be larger than expected.

To help make the process as convenient for you as possible, our teams will call between 15 and 30 minutes before your appointment time to give a firm arrival time.

06 Can you do the job for me if I am not on site?

While you do not have to be onsite, we do need someone who you have assigned responsibility to be there when the trucks arrive. our teams will call between 15 and 30 minutes before your appointment time let you know they are on their way.

07 I really need this job done after hours. Can you do that?

Contact us and we'll be happy to discuss your options, however it is unsafe for our drivers to do jobs in the dark. Special arrangements can be made if required but there may still be restrictions that need to be adhered to.

08 What do you do with the junk?

It depends on what you have. We will take usable items to those families in need, and the rest to the incineration plant. We are not a salvaging company or a charity. We do our best to recycle as much junk as we can.

09 Why can't you take hazardous materials?

Neither our drivers nor trucks are licensed to carry hazardous materials. Special arrangements have to be made to remove this type of material so please call us for further assistance.

10 Can you move my stuff from one location to another?

We can, but this will need to be agreed when the job is booked otherwise it will not be possible.

11 Why do you charge?

Truck Teams do all the loading and clean up and take items to the NEA incineration plant or recycle them. We are charged at the plant just as you would be and so have to pass those costs onto you. We work hard to keep our costs to a minimum for you.

12 What equipment does your truck team come with?

Each truck comes with a team of strong and efficient people, gloves, a toolbox, and sometimes a trolley or wheelbarrow. We do not operate heavy machinery or carry ladders unless there is a need to so please make sure you are as detailed as possible when booking the job.

13 How big is your truck?

The steel box on the back of our truck is 10 feet long, 8 feet wide and 5 feet high. We also have a van for apartments with limited loading bays and underground carparks only, there are 24 footer lorries and skip tanks for larger waste disposal.
